I've wanted a swallow for ages. I love the symbolism. Doodled this one onto my ankle earlier and sort of fell in love with it - is it a keeper, do you think?

Even more yes now I've seen the closeup. Do be careful on the dotwork, though; it's rare to find an artist who can pull dotwork off (I'm not at all happy with the dots around my dragon crystal, for a start.)

If it were mine, I'd curve the beak just very slightly, but other than that, I absolutely adore the whole design. It's beautiful. Go for it, I say.

Oh, definitely - good call, on the curved beak. I went over a few designs in college today, and found one with a bit more in the way of feathers that I liked, and also one with text - 'I wish that I believed in fate / I wish I didn't sleep so late' that was kind of cool, but they were both additions to the same basic design, so I'd get the base done first before considering either.


<3 I think I might have to get it done ^_^
